Enterprise is in our Culture

WorldStar is being built on the core principles of enterprise: teamwork, collaboration, initiative, quality and integrity. We believe practicing such values creates the right environment for our people to deliver results for our clients.

Inspiring Work

We strive to provide best-in-class advice and execution excellence on the most complex transactions across products in order to help our clients grow.

Lasting Impact

We are focused on being a significant financier and provider of capital-raising services, which, in turn, enables our clients to achieve their strategic goals. We also follow principles of co-investing with clients, where we can.

Enterprising Culture

Our distinct entrepreneurial culture is one of the things that set us apart from other firms. We expect everyone at the firm to be a contributor; no one is just an employee. This is why we make an unusual effort to identify and recruit people who, in addition to their intellect, share our commitment to leadership in business and to the communities where we work and live. A degree in business or finance is not necessary, but seeking out great opportunity and responsibility is. At WorldStar, everyone has a place at the table.

Calling Soccer Fans to Join Us.

We think soccer teaches you a lot about teamwork (and life!). We consistently scout for players who place the team's success above personal gains. We can train you on the rest (including competence).

Career at WorldStar

We thrive when our teams are made up of people from different backgrounds, cultures, genders, education, training, interests, and skills. We believe you can thrive by joining us. As you consider your career options and review the available opportunities with us, please also read through our tips on what makes a great WorldStar candidate and how we approach the interview and orientation process and integration for new hires.

As part of our onboarding process, new hires spend time with our senior leaders, both in formal training programs and more informally through meetings, projects and daily interactions. This process accelerates their integration into the firm, and provides senior management an opportunity to get to know new hires.

Continuous Learning

At WorldStar, we identify learning as a competitive advantage, and we are committed to helping our people reach the peak of their capabilities.

We firmly believe in training and development through both active structured education programs and continuous feedback during live projects. We offer courses to help you at each stage of your career. Our programs cover core corporate finance, products and markets training, deal process management, and soft skills including leadership, diversity and inclusion, culture and orientation, and professional skills.

At WorldStar, we believe you should be in control of your own learning and career development. This includes performance reviews and professional development planning. Every employee has an annual 360-degree performance review, taking in a self-assessment and feedback from a diverse group of colleagues.

Your Professional Development Plan (PDP) includes all your development needs and the actions that will help you meet them; whether through formal/informal training, work assignments, special projects, mentoring or committee participation. This plan is then reviewed over the year to make sure your goals are being met.

Mentoring is a core part of our investment in personal professional development, and we run an in-house mentoring training curriculum to ensure that the program remains effective as a learning and development practice.
